Bonus dollars now available at Farmers Markets for some County residents


Across the County for those on SNAP, WIC and Seniors


Participants in any of the following programs now have extra incentive to purchase local food at farmer’s markets.

CNY Health Bucks: For every $5 spent at your local market and receive an extra $2 in health bucks. Good for up to $20 (receive $8 in health bucks).

Just Say Yes Health Bucks: Receive $2 coupons for attending an educational program at your local food pantry.

Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP): Collect senior checks at the St. Lawrence County Office of Aging: 80 State Highway 310, Suite 7, Canton, NY. (315-386-4730).

Women Children Infants (WIC): Checks distributed at North Country Children’s Clinic: 3 Remington Ave, Canton, NY. (315-386-8128).


All of these benefits can be used to purchase only fresh fruits, vegetables or herbs St. Lawrence County farmer’s markets.

Martin’s Farmstand Online Ordering. (Accepts SNAP+ Debit, but not incentives)

Online orders taken Monday-Wednesday. Pick ups on Thursday.

Norwood Farmers’ Market Suspended for July, Opens August 3rd

Tuesday: Massena: 10:00-11am at Laurel Av. Senior Housing. Noon-2pm at Alcoa (Back Gate). 3:00pm-5pm Massena Memorial Hospital.

Wednesday: Potsdam: 12pm-1:30pm Mayfield Senior Apts on May Rd. 2:30pm-4:30pm at Canton Potsdam Hospital.

Friday: 10:00am-11am at Assisted Living LBSH on 32 South Church St. in Brasher Falls. 4:00pm-6:00pm at 211 Park St. in Tupper Lake.
