Adon Farms is a 4th generation dairy farm that recently started a roadside stand and seasonal ag tourism venture to better connect with our community. We sell ground beef and maple syrup year round. St. Lawrence Nurseries begun in the 1920's, and was originally the endeavor of Fred L. Ashworth, of Heuvelton, NY, a farmer with an interest in growing and propagating fruits and nuts for northern climates. Bill MacKentley met Fred in 1971, and developed a relationship that became almost as strong as family ties. For 34 years, the MacKentleys cultivated a truly unique and wonderful business, carrying the legacy of Fred Ashworth's passion.

We provide a diverse amount of vegetables and other local produce. We also have baked goods for sale.

Angel Acres Farm is a third generation farm owned by the Morrison Family. Our farm is focused on grass-fed beef, but we also produce pork and fall squash and pumpkin. We believe in raising both our animals and produce in an ethical manner while producing a quality product for our customers.

Our pigs are home grown and fed a healthy, balanced diet, including corn, soy, and important vitamins and minerals. We do not use growth-promoting antibiotics or hormones on any of our animals. Our animals' welfare is very important to us and we're happy to show you around if you'd like to see where your meat and eggs come from. Happy pigs make yummy pork. Also, try our beef, chicken, and rhubarb grown and raised by us.

Lambs are raised locally with their mothers on pasture. They are available in December or January but you must reserve them during the summer. I can also help you find other local lamb if I don't have any.

We make the best tasting maple syrup, cream, and candy on Giffin Road at the Canton/Potsdam town line. We are NY State Grown and Certified and Bird Friendly Maple certified by NY Audubon Society. Syrup is available at the Mack Maple Supply on US 11. Come visit us at the Potsdam Farmers Market May through October or from the house.

Whitten Family Farm is a diversified family farm growing mostly open pollinated heirlooms for taste and nutrition. We grow our produce using the non-certified ORGANIC method and have signed the NOFA Farmer’s Pledge. We never use GMO seeds, synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. Cover crops and rotational plantings help fortify the soil, and reduce weed, pest, and disease pressure. We also offer several options for CSAs and our products are available year round.

Tupper's Hilltop Maple Treats is located on a 33-acre maple grove with vacuum pipeline and using stainless steel tanks and drums. They have a registered kitchen and their syrup is processed on 2x6 oil-fired evaporator. Longtime NYS and St. Lawrence Co. Maple Producers Association members. All sizes of maple syrup, maple cream, molded sugar, granulated sugar, maple doughnuts, and maple-coated nuts are for sale.

We are a small family farm that offers butcher-ready NOFA-NY certified organic grass-fed steers for freezer beef, all natural free range pigs, garlic, and potatoes. Beef and pork are USDA inspected and available year round. Customers must call ahead for farm stand.

Milkweed Tussock Tubers (MTT) is a small scale, specialty organic potato company that strives to connect communities through regenerative agriculture. We have rare and unusual potatoes for consumption, native root crops, and certified disease-free seed potatoes. MTT is not only Real Organic Project certified, but we are also New York State's only women-led certified seed potato farm. We started Kent Family Growers in 2003 with 1/2 an acre of land and served a few local food outlets. Currently we grow on over 20 acres, wholesale produce throughout NYS and operate a popular summer and winter CSA.  Summer Shares run about 22 weeks from June to November. Customers can purchase either a Basic Share, which is intended to feed a couple, or a Full Share, which is a good size for families who cook and eat a lot of vegetables. Winter shares are available in three share sizes (November through March). Flower shares begin in June and end in September. 

More than 36 varieties of apples are picked and sorted by our farm professionals from August to November. You can purchase apples by the 1/4 peck, 1/2 peck, peck, 1/2 bushel, and bushel. We do not sell drops. Our orchard is a NO U-PICK orchard. Come enjoy our hot cider donuts, other delicious bake goods and our award winning hard ciders. We will be open during September and October, Fridays through Sundays.

Goodwin's Orchard is a family run business conveniently located four miles from Potsdam. In addition to the products listed below we also have Indian Corn and gourds.

Fuller's Farm has two high tunnels and we focus on growing early and late season greens, hydroponic tomatoes, lettuce, various herbs and a wide variety of typical summer season veggies.  Our vegetables are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or herbicides.

Applewood Orchards in Rensselaer Falls, NY offers a variety of activities for all age groups! You can enjoy picking quality grown local fruit, explore the corn maze, pick a pumpkin from our extensive pumpkin patch, explore the playground, or host your next work or family event.

Drumlin's End Farms is a small family run operation that has been certified organic since the 1980's near Massena. Our inputs are from the farm itself. Large portions of the farm are left "wild" to allow native species to return and prosper. We produce a variety of vegetables that are available during summer and fall. We are also Real Organic Project Certified.

The farm is located in the Adirondack Park of St. Lawrence County.

Canton Apples grows modern apple cultivars but specialize in heirloom and uncommon varieties. Stop by the stand to pick up cider, apple juice, pre-picked apples, NYS peaches, NYS plums, NYS nectarines, cherries, and blueberries (when in season). Fresh cider and cider blends with pear, cranberry, blueberry and raspberries are available seasonally.

Shop at our Ranch Store or get it delivered to your door on our weekly route of Canton, Madrid, Potsdam and surrounding areas. We offer year round local meat service in which customers can choose between mixed, beef, chicken, lamb and pork and custom cuts. 8 O'clock Ranch also sells Community Supported Shares (CSA), online, and from the ranch store. CSA shares can be delivered to your door in Canton, Potsdam and Madrid on a twice monthly basis (FREE!) or shipped.

Blue Heron Farm is a local producer in DeKalb Junction. Maple syrup and lamb are available year round but blueberries are ready in the summer.

Operating for 23 years, Bittersweet Farm, a small-scale, diversified family farm, works to restore ecosystems and feed neighbors. As we transition to a new ownership model, we are excited to offer more classes and educational opportunities in 2023. We provide community access to local, healthy, foods through our unique Workshare Warrior CSA. The Workshare Warrior CSA is designed to promote access to local food without monetary exchange. Members come to Bittersweet for two hours a week, no experience required, participating in all aspects of the farm in exchange for a farm share.

Andrew Yoder Family offers a good variety of vegetables that are grown right here and picked fresh.

We have a large supply of pumpkins of all sizes and colors. We also have corn stalks, gourds and winter squash available. Al Marlow & Sons sell vegetables at a roadside stand in Ogdensburg, NY. 

We offer various CSAs-summer shares (Mid-June to Mid-October), students shares (September to December), winter shares (November to January), and flowers shares. Market Spend down is available (you pay ahead and shop from us at the farmers market).
