Formerly Fordham Hill Farms, now Hadfield's Farm and Sugar Brew is a small family run farm. We are NYS maple producers. We grow a wide variety of local fruits and vegetables. We bring fruit from Mexico, NY that can't be grown in the North Country. Fresh baked goods are available too.

Our roadside stand offers our in-season fruits and vegetables, organic chicken and duck eggs, wild harvests of leeks, ramps, and blackberries, as well as information about Tamworth pig and pork shares. We are using sustainable farming practices to regenerate marginal land and follow organic standards guided by our Farmer's Pledge. Seasonally, you will find the stand stocked with locally grown flowers and vegetables, sweet corn, pumpkins, and other local products.

A cooperative member-owned grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join.

We make the best tasting maple syrup, cream, and candy on Giffin Road at the Canton/Potsdam town line. We are NY State Grown and Certified and Bird Friendly Maple certified by NY Audubon Society. Syrup is available at the Mack Maple Supply on US 11. Come visit us at the Potsdam Farmers Market May through October or from the house.

Whitten Family Farm is a diversified family farm growing mostly open pollinated heirlooms for taste and nutrition. We grow our produce using the non-certified ORGANIC method and have signed the NOFA Farmer’s Pledge. We never use GMO seeds, synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. Cover crops and rotational plantings help fortify the soil, and reduce weed, pest, and disease pressure. We also offer several options for CSAs and our products are available year round.

Tupper's Hilltop Maple Treats is located on a 33-acre maple grove with vacuum pipeline and using stainless steel tanks and drums. They have a registered kitchen and their syrup is processed on 2x6 oil-fired evaporator. Longtime NYS and St. Lawrence Co. Maple Producers Association members. All sizes of maple syrup, maple cream, molded sugar, granulated sugar, maple doughnuts, and maple-coated nuts are for sale.
Sugartree Village makes maple syrup in the traditional way with buckets and firewood, avoiding the use of plastics wherever possible. Products available year round.
We sell maple syrup, maple cream, granulated maple sugar, molded maple sugar, and “Maple Candy." Please call ahead if looking to buy from the Sugar Shack.
Martin's Farmstand is unique; they are a one-stop shop for the homegrown products from several area farms. All growers farm by chemical free and non-GMO methods. We are a reasonable priced option (often equal to supermarket prices) for really good local food. Check our website or Facebook for more opening information.

Canton Apples grows modern apple cultivars but specialize in heirloom and uncommon varieties. Stop by the stand to pick up cider, apple juice, pre-picked apples, NYS peaches, NYS plums, NYS nectarines, cherries, and blueberries (when in season). Fresh cider and cider blends with pear, cranberry, blueberry and raspberries are available seasonally.

Shop at our Ranch Store or get it delivered to your door on our weekly route of Canton, Madrid, Potsdam and surrounding areas. We offer year round local meat service in which customers can choose between mixed, beef, chicken, lamb and pork and custom cuts. 8 O'clock Ranch also sells Community Supported Shares (CSA), online, and from the ranch store. CSA shares can be delivered to your door in Canton, Potsdam and Madrid on a twice monthly basis (FREE!) or shipped.

Blue Heron Farm is a local producer in DeKalb Junction. Maple syrup and lamb are available year round but blueberries are ready in the summer.
Andrew Yoder Family offers a good variety of vegetables that are grown right here and picked fresh.
We sell freezer beef (1/4, 1/2, 1 whole) each Spring and Fall. March-October we sell ground beef, steaks, maple syrup, and eggs at our farm store. We have a CSA where we share all that grows in our gardens an small orchard.
