Hammond Backpack Program

The program is associated with the First Congregational Church of Morristown and currently distributes food to 19 families in the Hammond Central School District, although the list continues to grow each year.

The Hammond Backpack program is seeking donations of macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, instant potatoes, spaghetti and sauce, tuna fish, canned chicken, instant oatmeal, and canned fruits and vegetables. (NO items in glass containers, please!)

Food donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations:
-Shirley Bogart, 36 South Main Street, Hammond
-First Congregational Church, 541 Sand Street, Brier Hill (Sundays only)
-Vintage Doors, 66 South Main Street, Hammond, (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)

Monetary donations are also welcome. Checks can be made payable to the “First Congregational Church.” Please write “Hammond BackPack Program” on the memo line. Checks can be mailed to: Shirley Bogart, 36 South Main Street, Hammond, NY 13646.
