This Food Pantry is associated with the St. John the Baptist and Scotch Presbyterian Churches of Madrid. It serves the townships of Madrid, Norwood, Norfolk, Canton, Brasher Falls, and Massena. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment at the food pantry; but you can always stop by the thrift store for help as well.

Pantry is open by appointment and for emergencies only. Thrift store is open Wednesday 1:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm.
How to donate food to this program:
Pick up: Depends on the distance. Mornings are better for pick up and no pick ups on Saturdays.
Delivery: Any time as long as you call ahead
Delivery/Pick up capacity: Individuals and their personal vehicles
Accepts: Prefer single serving. Dry goods: pasta, rice, cereal, canned (vegetables, fruit, meat, fish), soup, crackers, bread. Limited capacity to store specialty items/soup. Refrigerated goods: milk, cheese, yogurt, butter. Frozen goods: meat, vegetables, juice. Produce and meat are better frozen. Not a lot of space available. Personal care products and toiletries.
Does not accept: No special diet goods (low sodium, etc.). No goods within a week or two of expiration.
