Massena Neighborhood Center

The Massena Neighborhood Center provides services to low-income families with the assistance of community volunteers. The Center has a food pantry and may be able to assist with emergency aid if required with food, fuel, utilities, or shelter. The Center also has a community garden available in the summer months. The Massena Neighborhood Center serves Brasher, Lawrence, Louisville, Norfolk, Raymondville, and Rooseveltown areas.

The SUNY Potsdam Food Pantry is located at SUNY Potsdam and available for all students that attend SUNY Potsdam. The food pantry also helps provide students with other resources that are available to them for food assistance.

Renzi Food Pantry (SUNY Canton)

The Renzi Food Pantry is located at SUNY Canton and provides food and other supplies to students who are in need. The pantry also helps students get connected to other services on campus to help them in time of need. Before stopping by please complete the pantry request form located on the website and select which items you would like. You will receive an email when items are ready to pick up at the counseling office.

Deliveries can be dropped off anytime, pickup preferred Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Helping Hands Food Pantry serves eastern St. Lawrence County, excluding Massena, and is located in the former Methodist Church in Hannawa Falls. Helping Hands also serves lunches Monday through Thursday at noon; click here for more information.

This food pantry, located in the old elementary school, serves the townships of Waddington, Madrid, Lisbon, Chase Mills and Louisville. This pantry organizes gleaning events to retrieve extra crops from farmers' fields on the first and third Wednesdays of each month during the growing season.

The pantry, located in the Town Hall, is open to all Hopkinton residents, which includes those residing in the townships of Hopkinton, Fort Jackson, and Nicholville. It is supported entirely by local community members' generous donations. Please bring your own containers for food and/or clothing.

Heuvelton School Food Pantry

The Heuvelton Central School District Food Pantry is a pilot program with the Food Bank of CNY  located at the school. The food pantry is set up like a grocery store, and participants are able to take what they need. All are welcome, and participants will be registered upon arrival.

Hermon-DeKalb Junction Food Pantry

The food pantry is located at the United Methodist Church in DeKalb Junction. Holiday baskets are available to qualified applicants for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holidays; call the number to set up an appointment or to learn more about their holiday basket program.

St. Patrick-St. Lawrence Food Pantry

This food pantry is associated with St. Patrick's Church in Brasher Falls. It serves the townships of Stockholm, Brasher, Helena, Lawrenceville, and North Lawrence.

Clifton-Fine BackPack Pantry

CFBP serves almost 300 families per month through its weekly backpack program and supplemental food pantry. CFBP works to break the cycle of poverty in the Clifton/Fine community and send messages of kindness, compassion, and connection. 

Families can self-refer by contacting the school social worker. The pantry serves income-eligible families only (185% of the federal poverty line, see forms on website), while the backpack program does not require income information. CFBP is entirely funded through the generosity of local grants, donations and fundraisers.
