Erin Cuseo was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and studied Biology at the University of Puget Sound. She was raised in a household where vegetables only came out of cans, but entered the world of food-as-medicine in college while attending the weekly farmers markets. Erin became committed to knowing where more of her food came from and started working on a nearby vegetable farm. It only took her one week on the farm to know she wanted to be a farmer and food-security advocate. 15 years later, Erin has served as a board member for markets, partnered with nonprofits to increase regional food security, grown and donated thousands of pounds of produce to food banks, and fed hundreds of families through her CSAs. Now a resident of St. Lawrence County, Erin looks forward to connecting with the community through the regional Farmers Markets and helping farmers grow their audience.
